¯Free Thanksgiving Day meal — 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov. 23, Beaver Lutheran Church, located along U.S. 522, between Beaver Springs and Beavertown. Take-out meals are available. Delivery and transportation to the church is available to residents of the West Snyder County area. Reservations are appreciated for large groups. ¯Kiwanis Club annual pancake breakfast and Christmas parade — breakfast runs 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Dec. 2, First United Methodist Church, Third and Dorcas streets. The breakfast includes sausage and all-you-can-eat pancakes. Tickets are $6 for adults, $2 for children and can be purchased from Kiwanis members or at the door. The Christmas parade begins at 1 p.m., Chestnut and Dorcas streets. Those interested in participating can obtain an application at the Chamber of Commerce.
